Caracal Lynx |
Caracal Lynx - this picture came 3rd in the Practical Photographer Magazine "Out and About" competition 2000.
It was taken with a CANON EOS50E at Marwell Zoo, nr Winchester, Hampshire.
I'm a member of the Photographic Group and Marwell Zoo and spend a fair amount of time photographing the animals there.
My work has been used to promote Marwell Zoo, and features in the Zoo Guide Book. |

Animal behaviour is most important,when taking wildlife photograghs even in zoos.
I got this photo ,knowing the sun set in the east and he liked to soak up the last of the sun rays.
So i got myself in position and waited and waited until he came.
We are all animals of habit,use this to your advantage to get some wonderful shots. |
